Project Update

After two years of preparation, Workday goes live on January 2nd and will replace Banner as the University of Richmond's finance, human resources, and payroll system. Since the project kickoff in September 2023, more than 200 employees have contributed to this transformation, following extensive planning and vendor selection earlier that year.

Multiple rounds of testing have verified data accuracy and business process functionality. The Project Team is currently validating our final version of Workday that we will move into production when we go live. Training resources are available, and support systems are in place.

The Workday website will serve as the central place to access Workday, training materials, and support. The Worday@Richmond project team looks forward to ushering in a new way of doing business at the University of Richmond in 2025.
