Training Update
If you've been waiting to get a deeper look at Workday, training will begin in early December and continue into the new year. Training will be available in several ways: live in-person and Zoom classes, online recorded classes, and documentation including job aids.
Classes will be facilitated by trainers from the Workday training team, colleagues in Human Resources, and Central Finance, and by trainers from departments across campus. We are grateful to everyone for their support!
Offerings will include Workday Essentials courses tailored to Staff, Faculty, Managers, and Student Workers. Specialized courses for key roles such as Cost Center Managers, Procurement Specialists, Timekeepers, and HR Specialists will be offered for those with functional HR, Payroll, or Finance responsibilities. Attending live training is not required except for those who will perform these specialized roles in their area.
Documentation and videos will be made available online at https://workday.richmond.edu/, the location for all information about Workday, including training. Select "Training" from the main menu on the website to learn about training options and to sign up.
Registration for December classes will begin in late November. Keep an eye on SpiderBytes for registration to be announced.
